Nurse practitioners may be among the first healthcare providers to deliver care to victims of a bioterrorism attack.  The ability to recognize the signs, symptoms, and patterns associated with key bioterror agents must become part of any provider's skill set.  This course will introduce you to clinical features of key high risk pathogens, including symptoms, treatment, and necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).  Also covered will be pertinent epidemiologic principles associated with possible bioterrorism and appropriate reporting procedures.
